Tire shops sell and install new tires, patch punctures, balance wheels and, at most locations, align the suspension. Prices are quoted per tire plus mounting, balancing, valve stems and a state disposal fee for the old set; many shops price-match and include free rotation and flat repair for the life of the tire. Used tire shops sell inspected take-offs for a fraction of the price of new ones, useful for an older car or a single replacement, but check the tread depth (4/32 inch or more) and the DOT date code, since rubber ages even on the shelf. Mobile tire services come to your driveway or the roadside, commercial shops handle semi, trailer, farm and off-road tires, and wheel shops repair and refinish bent or curb-scraped rims.

Newport News is in Virginia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Newport News follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I would like to provide feedback regarding my recent experience at this location because there were several issues that I believe warrant managementβs attention. First, parking was extremely limited. The parking lot is very small and appeared to be overcrowded with vehicles, which made arriving and waiting for service unnecessarily difficult. I scheduled an appointment to have two tires replaced. I arrived early for my appointment, yet I ultimately waited more than three hours for the work to be completed. Other customers had been waiting 5 hours or more for their vehicles.I understand that unexpected delays can occur, but I do not believe a three-hour wait for two tires is reasonable when an appointment was scheduled in advance. The most concerning issue, however, was the change in price after I had already been waiting for approximately two hours. I was initially provided a price and authorized the work based on that quote. After waiting for two hours, I was informed that the price would be nearly $250 higher because the tire size was slightly different and had allegedly been quoted incorrectly. I have owned this vehicle for more than four years and have replaced the tires tw

I visited this shop for two brand new tires and they used my tire key and never returned it to the glove box. Fast foward months later I have a flat and no key because of the lack of responsibility this shop took to take care of a customer's property

They took me in as a walk-in for 4 new tires when all the others wanted me to drop off my car for the weekend after I already made an appointment. βService was greatβ is an understatement. I told them I needed 4 tires & was hoping for Touring tires. they not only had the Touring tires, but came in $300 UNDER what all the others who turned me away estimated. Will come back for all my basic maintenance needs.

I initially visited Mr. Tire at 13807 Warwick Blvd., Newport News, VA, on June 15, 2026, for an oil change and to have my driver's side rear tire repaired due to a screw in the tire. I was charged $13.99 plus tax for a flat repair and rebalance and was told the tire had been repaired. Unfortunately, the tire continued to leak air afterward, requiring me to repeatedly add air. I returned to the store on Friday June 26, 2026 and was told there was only a very small leak that could be repaired in 5-10 minutes. A short time later, I was called into the shop and shown a large puncture in the sidewall of my tire and was told I needed to purchase a new tire. This was extremely concerning to me because I had driven from Hampton to Newport News, stopped at Trader Joe's and the cleaners, and never experienced a flat or any issue that would indicate I had such significant sidewall damage before arriving at the shop. As a customer, I found it difficult to understand how a tire with damage of that size could have allowed me to make that trip without going completely flat. The situation left me questioning what happened to my tire while it was in the shop's care. What upset me even more was the

Do not go here. Installing a tire and the installers broke a tpm on my vehicle. I confronted the lady and she said to drive it off. Took it to the dealership and it's definitely broken from them. The front desk lady also had an attitude for the majority of the time I was in the store front and kept watching the TV instead of "cashing me out" like she said she was ready to do.
